Alexandra Simmonds

Alexandra Simmonds is an experienced professional in the field of radiology and healthcare management. Currently serving as the Radiology, Medical Illustration and Vascular Lab Service Manager at NHS since July 2021, and as Interim Head of Strategic Planning at Swansea Bay University Health Board since February 2021, Alexandra has a strong background in managing radiology services, initially as Radiology Services Manager at NHS Abertawe Bro Morgannwg Health Board since 2018 and Clinical Services Manager at Inhealth since 2013. Previous roles include leadership in operational management for community Echocardiography services and regional management in North West London. Alexandra began their career as a Senior Radiographer at University Hospital of Wales, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography from the University of Derby.
