David Gareau, RN

David Gareau, RN has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. David has held various roles in different companies, starting with Broward Health, where they worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Intensive Respiratory Care Unit of a Level 1 Trauma Center. During their time there, they provided direct patient care, administered medications, monitored vital signs, and responded to emergencies.

After Broward Health, David joined Tidesmart Global / Promerica Health / EMG3 as a Field Nurse Manager and Experiential Marketing Manager. In this role, they managed onsite medical screenings, conferences, and presentations, ensured compliance with medical regulations, and oversaw emergency response and triage.

David then moved on to Semler Scientific / WellChec, where they worked as a Clinical Project Manager and Field Trainer. David'sresponsibilities included managing and training a team of medical professionals, coordinating events and logistics, and analyzing data. David also trained staff in the use of electronic medical record software.

At Obalon Therapeutics, David served as a Clinical Product Specialist Manager and National Trainer. David led a team of Product Specialists and provided product education and support to customers nationwide. David also assisted with customer training and supported key accounts.

Prior to that, David worked at Biosense Webster as a Clinical Account Specialist. In this role, they provided clinical product assistance and training to physicians and lab staff, educated customers on product usage, and identified sales opportunities.

Most recently, David joined Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc. as a Field Clinical Engineer. In this position, they supported clinical research activities, trained physicians and support staff, managed device inventory, and collaborated with the Clinical Affairs department on trial execution.

In 2023, David will be starting a new role as the Director of Sales and Clinical Development at inHEART.

David Gareau, RN has a diverse education history. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Foreign Languages from Stockton University. Additionally, they have an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Registered Nursing from Miami Dade College and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Biology from Atlantic Cape Community College.

David also pursued language studies, including Russian Language at Belarusian State University, Spanish-French Translation and Anatomy & Physiology at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, and Spanish Language & Computer Science at Universidad de Belgrano.

Furthermore, they obtained a Technical Certificate in Electronics & Computer Repair from Lincoln Tech - Moorestown.

In terms of certifications, David holds various credentials, including CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA, as well as credentials from Vendormate, symplr, Green Security LLC, IntelliCentrics, and Parallon. David is also a registered nurse in both California and Florida.
