Michael Ellis

Michael Ellis has a diverse work experience, starting in 2001 as an Engagement Manager at Katzenbach Partners LLC, where they founded and led the firm's renewable energy practice group. In 2006, they became an Independent Consultant in Renewable Energy/Clean Tech until 2008. In 2007, they worked as a Strategic Marketing Intern at Mascoma. From 2008 to 2012, Michael served as Principal at GreenOrder, where they led consulting teams and helped Fortune 500 companies develop sustainability strategies. Michael then joined Cleantech Group in 2012 as Partner and EVP Advisory Services, also serving as a member of the board of directors. In 2015, they became a Managing Director and COO at Inherent Group. Additionally, from 2010 to 2018, they served as a board member at Arbor Brothers, where they supported social entrepreneurs in the NY-NJ-CT area through grants and strategic consulting services. This work experience demonstrates Michael's expertise in renewable energy, clean tech, and sustainability consulting.

Michael Ellis obtained their Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science/Computer Science from Yale University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Later, they pursued their MBA from Harvard Business School and completed it from 2006 to 2008.
