Matt Murphy has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1988 when they served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy, for which they were awarded the Navy Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Sea Service Ribbon. In 1996, they joined the University of Pennsylvania Health System as an Associate Counsel. In 2000, they took on the role of COO and Vice President at Acquisition Management Services, a buy-side, outsourced M&A consulting firm. In 2005, they were COO of RecruitMilitary, where they grew revenue by an average of 54% year over year and created a fourth line of business. In 2011, they were President and CEO of Financial Health Services, LLC, where they strategized and led operational turnaround from negative cash balance and DSO of 105, restoring profitability, increasing staff four-fold, developing and launching new products and services, diversifying revenue base, and expanding client base and revenue. In 2014, Matt was selected to turn around Griswold Home Care as President and CEO, restoring equity value to the private equity group. In 2019, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Business Network International, and in 2020 they became Chief Executive Officer at InHomeTherapy.

Matt Murphy obtained their Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 1995. Matt also holds a Bachelor of Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 1988. Additionally, Matt Murphy is a Certified Franchise Executive, certified by the International Franchise Association.
