Cory Schmidt is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in digital partnerships and integrated communications across major companies in the industry. Currently serving as a Freelance Group Director at Initiative for Nike Global since March 2025, Cory previously held similar roles at Initiative for Amazon XCM & RMI and at Wavemaker for Nickelodeon and MGA Entertainment. With a strong foundation in brand and digital strategy developed through positions at Horizon Media and Assembly Global, Cory has successfully managed multi-million dollar budgets, led cross-functional teams, and cultivated senior-level client relationships. Cory's educational background includes a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Monterey Bay, and an AA in Interior Design from FIDM, graduating magna cum laude.
