Dr. Margaret Gilmore currently serves as the Deputy Vice President of Educational Leadership and Senior Strategic Facilitator at InitiativeOne, and holds a position on the Board of Directors for Cognia. With extensive experience in educational leadership, Dr. Gilmore has been the Deputy Chancellor of Education for the Churches of God In Christ World-Wide since July 2021 and previously served as Superintendent for Allendale County Schools from July 2018 to June 2023. Prior roles include District & School Leadership Transformation Leader at the South Carolina Department of Education, and various leadership positions with Cognia & AdvancED, as well as the Memphis-Shelby County School District and Shelby County School District, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving educational outcomes and leadership development.
