Rada Mihalcea

Rada is a professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of Michigan, and director of the Artificial Intelligence lab. She has worked on research in Natural Language Processing since 1997, and according to Google Scholar she is one of the top 40 most influential authors in this field. In 2009, President Obama awarded her the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers award for her research in NLP.
