John Willis

John Willis has over 24 years of work experience, starting in 1997 as a Facilities Administrator at Manpower. John then worked as an Assistant Facilities Manager at Sulzer Infra CBX Ltd and as a Facilities Manager at Open Air Fundraising. In 2002, they took a break to travel and started working on their own business, Scallyrags. John then worked as a Business Partner at Scallyrags and as a Process Officer at NHS/Xansa Shared Services. From 2005 to 2016, they served as an IT & Facilities Manager at Alliance Pharmaceuticals Limited, overseeing IT systems and facilities. John then became an IT Infrastructure & Service Manager at Alliance Pharmaceuticals Ltd, managing global IT infrastructure and services. From 2020 to 2023, they worked as an Information Technology Governance & Compliance Specialist at Crown Holdings, Inc. and is currently working as an IT Risk & Compliance Lead at Inizio. John has experience in IT risk management, compliance, facilities management, and process management.

John Willis has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Leisure Management from The University of Manchester, which they obtained in 1997. John also attended Bristol Waldorf School from 1982 to 1988. In 2019, they obtained the ITIL Practitioner Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert, and in 2020 they received the ISO27001 Certified ISMS Foundation (CIS F) certification from IBITGQ. Additionally, in 2020, they completed PRINCE2 Practitioner training from PeopleCert.
