Ali Nimer

Ali Nimer joined Injazat as Chief Commercial Officer in 2023. In his extensive career, as a digital and technology strategist Ali Nimer has solved complex business problems, spearheaded major digital transformation initiatives, and has a proven track record of enhancing businesses on a global scale.

Aligning with Injazat’s goals, Ali will continue to support and implement Injazat’s tactical strategies, that pave the path to success in digital transformation and technology for enterprises in the region.

As a digital and technology expert with over 20 years of experience , Ali adds a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Injazat. Previously, Ali served as the Vice President of Digital Transformation, Commercial and Delivery at NEXT 50 where he was responsible for the mobility vertical, commercial operations, solutions propositions and project delivery. Prior to this, Ali was the Executive Director of Digital and Technology at Miral and was also Injazat’s IT Operations Manager in 2005.

In the span of his career, Ali has thrived in various leadership roles including Advisor to the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA), Regional Government Director at Microsoft, CIO at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Head of IT for the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (MASDAR) and several roles at the Mubadala Development Company.

Ali holds an MBA from University of Cumbria, UK and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology in addition to an International Diploma in Project Management from the University of Cambridge, UK.
