Amr Gamea has a diverse work experience history. Amr started their career in 2010 as an HR Admin at Wadi Holdings Co., where they were involved in various HR functions such as recruitment, training, personnel, and CSR. Amr also designed a database program to record HR data using PHP, MYSQL, CSS, and HTML.

In 2010, Amr Gamea worked at Piraeus Bank Egypt as an IT Helpdesk, where their responsibilities included locating root causes of technical errors, monitoring the service desk, installing and configuring new workstations and software, and troubleshooting windows problems. Amr was promoted to IT Helpdesk Team Leader & Problem Manager in 2014, where they managed a team, implemented better SLAs, conducted training sessions, evaluated IT performance in branches, and reduced system problems by introducing various measures. Amr also worked as an HR Specialist during this time, involving screening CVs, conducting interviews, and calling possible candidates.

In 2016, Amr Gamea joined Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait as a Senior IT Operations Support, where they were responsible for maintaining daily operations for core banking systems and applications, handling IT infrastructure systems and applications for technical processes, and performing backup operations and monitoring processes.

Amr Gamea then worked at Teleperformance as a Technical Support Engineer from 2016 to 2018, and at High Mark Real Estate Brokers as a Senior IT Systems Admin in 2018.

Their most recent role was at Injazat, where they started in December 2019 as an IT Operation Support Team Lead.

Amr Gamea attended the Portsaid Language School - Zamalek from 1992 to 2005, where they completed their high school education and obtained a degree in Thanawia Amma. Following this, they enrolled at the Akhbar El Youm Academy from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in accounting and finance.
