Karthik Prasad

Karthik Prasad has a strong background in risk management and governance, with a focus on integrated risk management. Karthik currently holds the position of Executive Vice President - Risk and Governance at Injazat, a role they started in May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Risk and Governance from December 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining Injazat, Karthik held various roles within the company's affiliate Injazat Data Systems. Karthik was the Head of Project Management and Governance from March 2010 to July 2014, where they successfully governed and delivered a portfolio of more than 200 projects. Additionally, they served as the Head of PMO, Governance, Risk and Compliance from July 2017 to July 2019, where they defined and implemented the comprehensive portfolio management process for the organization.

Karthik's earlier experience includes roles at EDS JV and Electronic Data Systems, where they served as a Programme Manager and QA, Metrics, Testing and PPM SME, respectively. Karthik also worked as a Quality Analyst at AVL.

Throughout their career, Karthik has demonstrated expertise in driving performance and productivity improvements, implementing process improvements, and leading successful assessments of CMMI standards. Karthik has a proven track record of delivering projects and programs of significant value.

Karthik Prasad obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they also received a Master of Science in Computer Science from Annamalai University from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, Karthik Prasad has obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in November 2017, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practioner Level from the Office of Government Commerce in April 2015, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in October 2009. Karthik also holds certifications in Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute, CMMI Assessment Team Member from the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University, ISO 20000 Lead Auditor and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor from the Bureau of Assessment Services, ITIL Expert from the Office of Government Commerce, and Six Sigma Green Belt from TÜV SÜD South Asia.
