Walid Sowaidan

Walid Sowaidan has extensive work experience in the legal field. Walid is currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at Injazat. Prior to this, they worked at 3M starting in 2007. During their time at 3M, they held various roles including General Counsel for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region and Lead Trade Compliance Counsel for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Walid also served as the General Counsel for Central and East Europe / Middle East and Africa and as the Lead Compliance Officer and Director of Government Relations for MEA. Before joining 3M, Walid Sowaidan worked as the Legal Affairs Manager for the Middle East region at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, they were the Legal Counsel for the Middle East and North Africa at Citi. Walid began their career as a Corporate Counsel in Egypt for Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al-Kharafi & Sons. Before that, they worked as an Attorney At Law at several local law firms. Overall, Walid Sowaidan has gained valuable legal expertise and leadership skills through their diverse roles in various companies.

From 1990 to 1994, Walid Sowaidan attended Ain Shams University, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in the field of Law.
