Conor McCormick

Conor McCormick is a Research Technician at Inland Fisheries Ireland since July 2023, previously serving as a Technical Officer for Fish Health, Ageing, and Species at the Environment Agency from July 2019 to July 2023. McCormick's technical expertise was further developed through roles at Accenture as a Technical Analyst and Associate in the Business Product Specialist Team from January 2018 to June 2019. Academic experience includes conducting a Master's research project at the University of Southampton, focusing on the influence of ocean temperature changes on Atlantic salmon mortality, and an undergraduate research project at Trinity College Dublin examining parasitic infections in marine blue mussels. McCormick holds a Master of Science in Oceanography from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from Trinity College Dublin.
