Jim Deffenbaugh has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jim started in 1983 as an IT Auditor at Marathon Oil Company, where they evaluated and recommended improvements for internal controls in IT infrastructure and processes. In 1986, they joined Detroit Medical Center as the Director of Security & IT Quality Assurance, implementing and managing data security control systems for the IT infrastructure and patient care applications of five hospitals.
