Rich Schmidt is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Inmar. Rich has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Rich began their career as a Sr. Auditor for The Daniel Professional Group, Inc. where they worked on audit engagements for clients in a variety of industries. In 1994, they joined McGladrey & Pullen as a Sr. Auditor.

In 1996, Rich became the Director of Finance for the Forsyth County Park Authority. Rich was responsible for all financial functions for the organization, which operated two public golf courses, accommodations operations, and a catering business. During their tenure, Rich led efforts to select and implement multiple software solutions critical to operations, including a new point of sale system to support golf operations and a new accounting system to improve billing and financial reporting functions.

In 2000, Rich left the Forsyth County Park Authority to join Inmar as their Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, they are responsible for Inmar’s financial strategy, planning, and execution. Rich also oversees Inmar’s Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Investor Relations functions.

Rich Schmidt attended Wake Forest University for both their undergraduate and graduate degrees, receiving a BS in Accounting and an MBA. Rich also holds certifications from Winston Salem State in Six Sigma Black Belt and from the North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accountants in CPA.

Rich Schmidt works with Sharon Joyner-Payne - Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications , Rob Zomok - Strategic Advisor, and Greg Kerr - President, International Strategy & Chief Innovation Officer. Rich Schmidt reports to L. David Mounts, Chairman And Chief Executive Officer.
