Digital Innovation Partnerships Lead at Inmarsat

Clara Wahnich has extensive experience in various roles related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. Clara currently works for Inmarsat as the Digital Innovation Partnerships Lead, where they manage open innovation initiatives and co-creates value for the company's connectivity, IoT, edge computing, and cybersecurity products in the maritime sector.

Prior to this, Wahnich served as a mentor at Pitch@Palace, providing guidance to startups. Clara also worked at The Carbon Trust as the Manager of Incubation, where they managed and delivered venture support activities for startups, including fundraising, strategic partnerships, and market research.

Wahnich has been involved in the startup ecosystem as an accelerator judge at ConsenSys, MassChallenge, and Shell. Clara also has experience in impact investment and renewable energy, having worked at Land Rescue Fund and Sindicatum as a strategy and finance manager and a vice president of an investment manager, respectively.

Before entering the sustainability and innovation field, Wahnich worked as an analyst and financial controller for BNP Paribas and Allianz Dresdner Asset Management. Clara'sexpertise spans across various industries and sectors, with a focus on driving sustainable and impactful change.

Clara Wahnich completed an MSc in Finance from ESCP Business School between 2000 and 2004. In 2009, they pursued an Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society of the UK.
