Craig Hibberd

Vice President Network Engineering at Inmarsat

Craig Hibberd has over 20 years of work experience in the field of engineering. Craig began their career at Logica in 1998 as a Consultant in the Space Division and worked there until 2000. In 2000, they joined Inmarsat and held various roles including Systems Engineer, MPDS Programme Manager, and Senior Systems Engineer - Radio Network Engineering. Craig then progressed to managerial positions, serving as the Manager of Global Xpress Gateway Engineering and Director of Radio Access Networks. From 2019 to 2023, they worked as the Senior Director of Ka-band Systems Engineering, and since 2023, they have been serving as the Vice President of Network Engineering at Inmarsat.

Craig Hibberd earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mobile and Telecommunications Engineering from Birmingham City University, which they attended from 1994 to 1997. Craig then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Satellite Communications at the University of Surrey from 1997 to 1998.
