Kristen Mineck

Kristen Mineck possesses extensive experience in aviation safety and standards, currently serving as the Manager of Aviation Standards and Requirements for both Inmarsat and Viasat since May 2016, following the acquisition of Inmarsat by Viasat in 2023. Prior to this role, Kristen was a Safety Engineer at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), contributing to the Office of Accident Investigation and Prevention as well as the Air Traffic Organization. Earlier experience includes a Senior Analyst position at CSSI Inc, managing safety initiatives for the Air Traffic Organization's Compliance Services Group, and roles as a Junior Safety Engineer. Kristen began a career in aviation with a summer internship at Eclipse Aerospace, focusing on small business jet engine data analysis. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California, earned in 2009.
