Mark Weimer

Mark Weimer has a long and varied work experience. Mark began their career in 1992 as Business Manager at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, where they administered budget and finances for grants and contract funding and designed and implemented a Paradox for Windows database system. In 1995, they moved to Recomm International Display, Ltd. where they worked as a Programmer/Business Analyst and Financial Analyst. In 1997, they began working as a Consultant/Contract Software Engineer at TeCom, Inc. (subsidiary of TECO Energy), developing Delphi-based commercially marketed software applications used in energy and utility consumption management. In 2001, they became an Owner-Partner/Proprietor at Marrick Properties, LLC d/b/a The Pier Hotel, managing all aspects of the 33-room boutique hotel. In 2014, they joined MarineMax as a Business Analyst/Project Manager/BRM, where they were responsible for overall direction, coordination, implementation and execution of projects in an Agile-hybrid environment. In 2017, they became Chief Product Officer at AscendTMS (TheFreeTMS.com) By InMotion Global, Inc.

Mark Weimer obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Miami in 1989, majoring in Accounting and Business Management. Mark then went on to The University of Georgia, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 1991, with a focus on Corporate Finance, Real Estate, and Strategic Management of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In 2017, they were certified as a Certified Product Manager (CPM) by AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management.
