Kamlesh Singh

Kamlesh Singh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Kamlesh began their career as a Hardware Design Engineer at Rancore Technologies, where they focused on RTL design and verification for a TD-LTE 4G Remote Radio Head. Kamlesh then worked as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where they gained skills in Verilog/VHDL, IC design, and embedded design. During their time there, they successfully designed and tested a VCO chip and developed a prototype product that was registered for an Indian patent.

After that, Kamlesh joined Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) as an Engineer, specializing in design technology platform and process design kit development. Kamlesh'sresponsibilities included parasitic extraction and simulation using Cadence tools, as well as benchmarking the extraction tool against 3D tools using various components.

Next, they worked as an Intern at NXP Semiconductors, where they focused on digital IC design and energy consumption exploration. Kamlesh characterized standard cell libraries and designed a near/sub-threshold optimized standard cell library to reduce leakage power without performance penalties.

Kamlesh then pursued a PhD at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, focusing on digital IC design and tape-out. Kamlesh'sresearch involved designing and measuring an advanced digital SoC consisting of a RISC-V core and a coarse-grained re-configurable accelerator (CGRA) in a specific technology.

Currently, Kamlesh is working at Innatera Nanosystems as an Engineering Manager, responsible for overseeing the Engineering department. Kamlesh also retains their role as a Senior Physical Design Engineer at the company.

Kamlesh Singh completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Visvervaraya National Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Electronics Systems at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from 2012 to 2015.
