Milena Mesén

Physical Design Engineer at Innatera

Milena Mesén started their work experience as a Physical Design Engineer at Innatera Nanosystems in January 2020, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, they worked at Intel Corporation from 2015 to 2018, first as a Physical Design Engineer from an unknown start date to May 2017, and then as a Platform Analysis Software Engineer from May 2017 to April 2018. Before their time at Intel, they worked at Hewlett-Packard from an unknown start date to 2013 as a Hardware Physical Design Engineer, where they designed and owned the physical layout of two blocks for a business-critical server node controller. Milena also worked as a Hardware Validation Engineer at Hewlett-Packard from an unknown start date to 2014, where they carried out validation results triage and started ASIC block verification. Prior to that, they worked as a freelance tutor from 2005 to 2011, where they tutored high school and college students in various subjects. Finally, they interned at Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad in 2010.

Milena Mesén earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, where they studied from 2012 to 2018. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Universidad de Costa Rica from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including "Specman Functional Verification Fundamentals" from Cadence Design Systems in 2014, "Altos Liberate Library Characterization and Validation using CLC and CLV" from Cadence Design Systems in 2012, "Milkyway Library Preparation" from Synopsys in 2012, and "Nanotime Basics" from Synopsys in 2012.
