Vasile TOMA

Vasile Toma has an extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Vasile is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Innatera Nanosystems since 2022. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2022, they worked at Intel Corporation, where they held various roles including Principal Engineer & Engineering Manager in EDGE-AI and Heterogeneous Computing, and HW Engineering Manager in Heterogeneous Computing Accelerators and EDGE AI, also serving as a Product Security Expert. At Intel, they were responsible for leading hardware architecture and design, overseeing data science and engineering groups, and driving results across boundaries.

Before joining Intel, Vasile Toma worked at Movidius from 2013 to 2016 as a Lead HW Design Engineer, where they played a key role in the entire lifecycle of IC product development. Vasile also designed and built computer vision-based products and solutions. Prior to Movidius, they worked at Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH in 2012 as a Consultant in Digital Design, and at Infineon AG from 2011 to 2012 as a Product Design Engineer for chip-cards and security division. At Infineon, they managed top-level integration of digital modules and mixed/analog components, ensuring functionality and quality.

Vasile'scareer started at Movidia in 2007 as a Design Engineer, where they handled logic implementation and developed tests and environments for complex design blocks. Prior to Movidia, they worked at Siemens in 2006 as an Embedded Software Developer JR.

Vasile TOMA completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universitatea "Politehnica" din Timișoara from 2003 to 2008. Vasile then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Quantic School of Business and Technology between 2020 and 2021.
