Stephen Barat

Stephen Barat currently serves as the Head of Preclinical Sciences and Toxicology at Inncelerex since January 2024. Previously, Stephen held several executive roles, including Senior Vice President and Executive Officer at HTG Molecular Diagnostics, where responsibilities encompassed the Therapeutics Business Unit from October 2021 to February 2024. Notable past positions include US Head of Non-Clinical Safety Leaders at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson and Vice President of Research and Early Development at SCYNEXIS, Inc. Stephen's career also includes significant roles at Allergan and Actavis, focusing on non-clinical development, safety assessment, and strategic leadership. Stephen obtained a PhD in Pharmacology & Toxicology from Rutgers/University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and a Certificate in Strategic Leadership from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.
