Angela Villarreal

Teaching Artist at Inner-City Arts

Angela Villarreal is an experienced professional in arts education and marketing, currently serving as the Director of Youth Art Programs at First City Art Center since January 2023. Angela has held various roles including Marketing Manager at Village Intel, where responsibilities include customer follow-up and appointment setting for major retailers, and Public Programs Manager at Thinkery. In addition, Angela has been a Site Coordinator at Creative Action, a Teaching Artist at Inner-City Arts since January 2013, and previously worked as an Art Teacher at Elgin ISD for over a decade. Angela holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University-Austin and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Sam Houston State University.
