Montiera Straughter is a skilled professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and creative direction. Currently serving as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Velvet Posh Hair since December 2016, Montiera focuses on research and development to enhance outreach and implement innovative marketing trends. As Creative Director and Founder of College Girls Brand since February 2012, Montiera has been instrumental in developing marketing concepts for print and social media, targeting young women ages 13-26. Additional experience includes teaching at ICEF Public Schools and previous roles at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and PUMC Marketing Firm, where Montiera contributed to strategy and project analysis. ICEF was one of the first charter school management organizations to open in Los Angeles, and quickly became a leader in raising the achievement levels of African-American and Latino/Hispanic students in the State of California.
