Katie Ruiz

Katie Ruiz is an experienced educator currently serving as an Intervention Teacher at Sage Oak Charter Schools since August 2023. Prior to this role, Katie worked at the Los Angeles Unified School District as an English and Theatre Teacher from August 2020 to August 2023, where significant contributions included developing educational materials and enhancing student engagement through technology integration. Previous teaching positions included roles in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District and tutoring at the Tutoring Club. Katie holds a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Whittier College, complemented by secondary education credentials from California State University, Long Beach.
