Isa Badia Bellinger is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Housing Justice Fellow at the Inner City Law Center since September 2023. Previously, Bellinger held the position of Student Attorney at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau from August 2021 to May 2023, where Bellinger was the Housing Practice Area Head during the final year. Additionally, Bellinger served as a Student Attorney and Case Assignment Director at Harvard Defenders, and completed a Summer Law Clerk role at the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii. Bellinger gained valuable experience as a Movement Law Intern at the Detroit Justice Center and as a Fellow with Bay Area JusticeCorps, assisting self-represented litigants. Bellinger’s background also includes teaching and advisory roles at Stanford University, culminating in advanced degrees from Harvard Law School and Stanford University in Earth Systems.

The only provider of legal services on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles, Inner City Law Center combats slum housing while developing strategies to end homelessness. Inner City Law Center is recognized for our expertise in housing issues, veterans’ benefits, and homelessness prevention. Our staff of 40, including 20 attorneys, provides quality legal representation for people who have nowhere else to turn. We fight for justice for low-income tenants, working poor families, immigrants, people who are homeless or disabled, and veterans. Driven by the fundamental principle that every person should always be treated with dignity and respect, ICLC works for long-term, positive, and meaningful change.
