Joel Passen

Joel Passen is the Co-Founder of Sturdy, a venture-backed AI company focused on revenue intelligence for B2B technology and services, a role held since June 2020. Previously, Passen served as the Head of Global Revenue at Beamery, a SaaS company specializing in AI-driven talent strategies, from October 2018 to April 2020. Prior to that, experience includes leading go-to-market operations at Paycor, overseeing sales, marketing, and business development from December 2015 to February 2018 after joining through the acquisition of Newton Software, co-founded in 2009 with Steve Hazelton. Before Newton, Passen co-founded Gravity Technologies, Inc., a BPO for talent acquisition services, and began a career in technology entrepreneurship starting in March 1998. Passen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from The Ohio State University.
