Jeni Thakkar (She/Her)

Jeni Thakkar has a diverse work experience in the field of psychology. Jeni started their career as a Counseling Psychologist at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in November 2020 and worked there until June 2022. During this time, they also served as a Psychotherapist in Private Practice starting from June 2022. Jeni then joined cure.fit (cult.fit) as a Consultant Therapist from June 2022 to February 2023. In January 2023, they started working as a Consultant Psychologist at Amaha (formerly InnerHour), and in May 2023, they also joined The Mind and Company as a Consultant Psychologist.

Jeni Thakkar completed their Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mumbai from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Xavier's College from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, Jeni has pursued further education and training through various certifications. Jeni obtained a certification in Queer Affirmative Counseling Practice from Mariwala Health Initiative in October 2021. In August 2020, they completed a Child therapy training in school certification from Trijog-Know Your Mind. Furthermore, in June 2020, they obtained a certification in Basic Transactional Analysis with Gestalt work from Mind Mandala. Lastly, in January 2020, Jeni received a certification in Basics of Rational Emotive and cognitive behavioral therapy from Atha Centre for psychotherapy and training.
