Reza Bloomer

Reza Bloomer has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2011, they worked as a Summer Analyst at USAID. The following year, they served as an Analyst at Grosvenor Fund Management Japan. Reza then joined GE Capital, Retail Finance in 2013 as a Commercial Leadership Program Intern. From 2014 to 2015, they participated in the Commercial Leadership Program at GE Capital, Sponsor Finance. In 2015, Reza joined GE Ventures as a Portfolio Management & Commercial Development professional, working until 2017.

Reza then transitioned to Hustle, where they were a Business Development Associate from January 2018 to August 2018, a Business Development Manager from August 2018 to January 2019, and finally a Senior Business Development Manager from January 2019 to August 2019.

In 2019, Reza began working as a Go-To-Market Consultant with various early-stage companies, providing assistance in business development, strategic sales, channel partnerships, and growth.

In 2020, Reza was an Advisor at Dastgyr, offering strategic guidance and support for go-to-market strategy, growth operations, and fundraising. They also joined Farm2People as part of the Strategy & Business Development team, working to secure local farm harvests and deliver fresh food to food banks and agencies. Reza's involvement with Farm2People lasted from September 2020 to March 2022.

Currently, Reza serves as the Head of Business Development at InnerPlant. The company integrates synthetic biology, remote sensing, and data science to develop living biosensors and provide data for agricultural technology.

Reza Bloomer completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Entrepreneurial Studies from Tufts University, from the years 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a High School Diploma from The American School in Japan, spanning from 2001 to 2010.
