Dan Farrelly

Dan Farrelly is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently serving as the CTO and Co-founder of Inngest since January 2022, Dan focuses on creating a developer platform for building reliable workflows without infrastructure challenges. Prior to Inngest, Dan held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Buffer from February 2014 to December 2021, where responsibilities included directing technical and data strategies for a remote team and overseeing significant product expansions. Additional roles include Software Architect at Buffer, Product Engineering Lead at Slated, Inc., and Lead Front-end Developer at APOGEE Media and NYC Originals. Dan began their career as a Project Engineer at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company after earning a BSCE in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2008.
