Gergely Szappanos has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gergely is currently serving as the Finance COE Lead and Managing Director at the INNIO Group since February 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at Vodafone, including Global Head of Finance Shared Services and CEO of Vodafone Shared Services Europe from April 2018 to November 2019. Gergely also served as Global Head of Finance Shared Services, Head of Advanced Finance Services, Global Head of Record to Report, Head of Cash Management, and Manager of Treasury & Cash Management at Vodafone from 2011 to 2018. Before joining Vodafone, Gergely held the position of Treasurer at Electrolux Lehel Kft from October 2003 to November 2008 and Assistant Treasurer at Electrolux Lehel Kft from September 2000 to September 2003.
Gergely Szappanos attended Budapest University of Economics from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained an MA degree in Foreign Economics and Corporate Valuation. From 2000 to 2003, they pursued postgraduate law studies at ELTE, focusing on Economy and Public Law. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they studied IT, Networks, and Programming at Gábor Dénes College.
