Jennifer Cheng

Jennifer Cheng is a seasoned freelance book editor at Reedsy and a freelance journalist with the Consumers Council of Canada, both roles commenced in February 2024. With a strong background in editing and journalism, Jennifer worked as a content editor for INNOCEAN Canada since February 2022 and previously served as a copy editor at Torstar Corporation from January 2020 to December 2023, where nearly 10,000 articles were edited and published. Prior experiences include copy editing for The Hamilton Spectator and editorial roles at Metro English Canada and Toronto Life Magazine. Jennifer began their career at The Canadian Press, contributing as a reporter-editor and later as an editor for The Globe and Mail. Holding a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University, Jennifer combines expertise in storytelling and market analysis.
