Kanani Schnider is a paralegal with experience in post-conviction litigation at Innocence Project. Previously, Kanani worked as a resource coordinator at Center for Court Innovation and as an economic research consultant at Kaunalewa. Kanani also served as a Stanford Human Rights Fellow at Center for Human Rights and International Justice, and as a legal research assistant at Dewan & Associates, PLLC. Kanani holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in International Relations from Stanford University.

The Innocence Project is a non-profit legal clinic affiliated with the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and created by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld in 1992. The project is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
