The Legal and Advocacy Team at the Innocence Project is dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted individuals through legal representation, policy research, and advocacy for criminal justice reform. This diverse group of attorneys, analysts, and support staff collaborates to evaluate cases, manage intake processes, analyze forensic science, and engage with state policymakers to influence legislation that prevents future injustices. Their collective efforts aim to ensure that the voices of the wrongfully convicted are heard and that systemic changes are pursued to protect all individuals within the justice system.
