Andrew Mei has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andrew started their career as a Hardware Engineer (PCB Layout) at TRIUMF in 2008. Andrew then worked as a Hardware Engineer (Co-op) at Icron Technologies in 2009. In 2010, they joined The University of British Columbia as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant. Andrew then returned to Icron Technologies in 2013 as a Hardware Design Engineer. Most recently, they worked as a Marketing Program Manager at InnoLight Technology (Suzhou) Ltd. starting from April 2016.
Andrew Mei attended Langara College from 2005 to 2006, where they pursued a University Transfer program in Arts and Science. Following that, they enrolled at The University of British Columbia from 2006 to 2010 and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Nanotechnology and Microsystems. Andrew continued their education at The University of British Columbia from 2010 to 2012, completing a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree with a specialization in Wireless Propagation.
