Edward Xiao

Edward Xiao has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. In recent years, they held the position of CEO at Toptrans Corporation and served as the VP of Photonic Devices at InnoLight Technology (Suzhou) Ltd. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Consultant to Wall Street Investment firms, utilizing their expertise in data storage networking, semiconductor laser, and 3D Sensing to assist investors. Prior to that, they were the General Manager and Corp VP of Operations at OCLARO, where they successfully managed operations in Shenzhen, China, and Penang, Malaysia. Edward also held several leadership positions at OCLARO, including VP of APAC Marketing and Sales, and VP of Sales, Avanex pre-Oclaro. Earlier in their career, they served as CEO of Optiviva, VP of Marketing and Sales at MegaSense, Market Manager, and Director of BizDev at Corning Incorporated, and Senior Manager at Fairchild Corp.

Edward Xiao attended Zhejiang University from 1983 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering (E.E.). Additionally, from 1992 to 1994, they studied at Shenandoah University, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Business and Finance.
