Francisco Kuhar has a diverse work experience spanning various research and academic institutions. Francisco started their career as a DAAD fellow at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2009. In 2015, they worked as a Visiting Researcher at Harvard University. In 2016, they joined IMBIV as an Associate Researcher, where they worked until June 2021. During the same year, they also became a Researcher and Assistant Researcher at CONICET. In 2017, Francisco had the opportunity to be a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Florida. In 2018, they became the Curator of Cryptogams at CORD Herbarium. Their most recent role is serving as the Chief Science Officer at Innomy, which they started in March 2020.

Francisco Kuhar has a strong educational background focused on the field of Biology and Micology.
