Yuli You

Vice President, DSP Technology at InnoPhase

Yuli You have a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Yuli is currently the Vice President of DSP Technology at INNOPHASE and has been working in this role since August 2022. Prior to that, they were a Consultant at INNOPHASE from September 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining INNOPHASE, Yuli held various roles at Guoguang Electric Co., Ltd., including Vice President of Technology from October 2015 to November 2020. In this position, they personally developed audio processing algorithms and recruited teams to work on various audio processing projects. Yuli also served as the President and CEO of GGEC America from September 2016 to December 2017 and as the Chief Technology Advisor from August 2014 to October 2015.

Yuli also worked as a Principal Engineer in R&D and Standards at Qualcomm from October 2012 to November 2013.

Additionally, Yuli has had experience as a Founder, CTO, and VP at Digital Rise Technology from June 2004 to November 2009, where they promoted the DRA audio coding algorithm. This algorithm became part of the BD-ROM 2. 3 specification and a national standard of China.

Yuli has also worked as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota from July 2008 to June 2009 and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the same university from July 1996 to June 1998.

Yuli started their career as a Senior Engineer at Xperi Corporation/DTS from October 1996 to June 2001, where they played a significant role in developing the technical specifications and codecs for DTS Digital Surround.

Before joining Xperi Corporation/DTS, Yuli worked as a Senior Engineer at Seagate Technology from September 1995 to October 1996.

Overall, Yuli You have a strong background in technology, specializing in the development and implementation of audio processing algorithms and systems.

From 1990 to 1991, Yuli You studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia. Later, from 1991 to 1995, they pursued a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
