Karen Winkowski, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Karen is currently working as the Vice President of Innovation at Innophos since June 2020. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Ashland, where they served as the Global Director of Preservatives and Biomaterials from October 2018 to June 2020, the Global Director of Preservatives and Microbial Technologies from July 2015 to October 2018, and the Senior Director of Industrial Biocides, Preservatives, and Material Sciences from August 2011 to June 2015. Before joining Ashland, they worked at ISP as the Senior Director of Performance Chemicals and Industrial Biocides R&D from 2002 to August 2011. Karen also has experience as a Senior Industrial Microbiologist at Evonik - North America from 1997 to 2001.
