Ruben King-Shaw Jr. has over three decades of executive leadership experience in the healthcare technology and private equity sectors and has held C-suite positions with leading private companies. He is a Chief Strategy Officer and Member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Steward Health, LLC since 2018. He is also a Chief executive officer of Mansa Equity Partners, Inc., a private equity and investment advisory firm specializing in supporting the growth of healthcare companies.

Mr. King-Shaw served on the Obama Administration’s Medicare Program Advisory and Oversight Committee. He was also the COO and Deputy Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) during the President George W. Bush administration. He was a senior advisor to the Secretary of the U.S. Treasury for health care tax policies.

He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, at Cornell University, and earned both Master of Health Service Administration and a Master of International Business degree from Florida International University. He has also completed advanced studies in Corporate Governance from Harvard Business School.
