Verena Meyer

Verena Meyer currently serves as the Head of Human Resources at Innospec Inc. since May 2023. Previously, Verena held the position of Head of People and Culture at the Hasso Plattner Foundation from October 2022 to March 2023, and before that, Verena was the Head of Human Resources at Helios IT Service GmbH from December 2019 to August 2022. Additionally, Verena directed personnel and social matters at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin from April 2018 to December 2019 and served as the Department Head of Human Resources at IHP GmbH from July 2009 to March 2018, where Verena participated as a peer reviewer for the HR-Strategy for Researchers for the European Commission in 2014. Verena's earlier experience includes roles in organizational development and human resource development at Daimler from April 2002 to June 2009 and AOK-Bundesverband from April 1998 to April 2002. Verena holds an M.A. in Social Science from The University of Göttingen and has also studied at UC Irvine.
