Philip Meesters

Philip Meesters has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to 2019. Philip started their career as an intern at Vision Expertise Center, where they worked on a bachelor graduation project involving building a soccer robot controlled by a PC with a webcam.

In 2007, Philip joined Ericsson as a Support Services Engineer in R&D. Philip'sresponsibilities included testing and delivering new products to customers, as well as handling customer service requests by analyzing log files and other collected information. Philip mostly worked on platforms such as Telecom Server Platform, Ericsson Composition Engine, and Business Communication Suite. Later, they transitioned to the role of a Solution Integrator, where they focused on preparing and delivering services to customers, including tasks like testing the product and studying the local culture.

In 2019, Philip joined InnoTractor as an Embedded Systems Engineer. Here, they have the opportunity to work with their colleagues on IoT devices and services for customers. Philip specifically focuses on NarrowBand, a wireless low bandwidth technology suited for low powered devices to connect to the internet. Philip finds it challenging to fit everything into small hardware and software constraints.

Philip Meesters obtained a Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences. In addition, they received certification in "Electronics Foundations: Basic Circuits" from LinkedIn in July 2020, and certification in "Learning Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Developers" from LinkedIn in January 2019.
