Karen Zalewski

Karen Zalewski has over 30 years of work experience in various project management roles. Karen began their career in Coopers and Lybrand as a Project Coordinator, where they coordinated furnishing projects and ordered furniture for partners and staff. Karen then became the National Furnishings Buyer, managing the procurement process for furnishings.

Karen later joined Smed International as an NY Field Project Manager and Client Service Manager, where they managed tech support employees and worked with end users to resolve issues. Karen then moved on to Installation Support Services, where they served as the President and was responsible for hiring and managing union carpenters.

Karen's next role was as a Senior Project Manager at Brescia Goldin Partnership, where they successfully developed and implemented projects for clients such as The Frick Museum and Reuter's subsidiary. Karen then joined Smed International/Haworth as a Senior Project Manager, managing capital improvement projects for clients such as Pfizer and XEROX.

Karen continued their project management career at EvensonBest as a Senior Project Manager, working on projects for clients such as Morgan Stanley and McKinsey. Karen then joined Haworth as a Regional Service Manager, leading and managing project managers and field technicians to ensure customer satisfaction.

Most recently, Karen has been working at Innovant as the Director of Project Management since 2015. Overall, they have a strong background in project management, with experience in various industries and a track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Karen Zalewski attended Hope College from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and German.
