Laurie-Anne Villeneuve has a diverse range of work experience in communication, marketing, and project management. From 2013 to 2020, they worked in various roles and companies. Laurie-Anne began their career as a Communications and Public Relations Assistant at Festival Saint-Honoré dans l’Vent where they managed festival preparations, dealt with sponsors, and wrote external documents. Laurie-Anne then worked as a Field Promotion Agent at Leclerc Communication Inc., where their responsibilities included setting up and disassembling event sites, distributing promotional material, and handling public relations. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Communication Officer at Université Laval's Faculty of Social Sciences, where they organized events, managed social networks and the website, and worked on graphic design. In 2016, they served as the Communication and Protocol Coordinator for the 52nd Finals of Quebec Games in Alma—Winter 2017, overseeing personnel management, budget allocation, and coordination of various elements of the event. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Communication, Sales, and Marketing Manager at Historic Village of Val-Jalbert, where they organized events, participated in sales and public relations events, and managed contracts and agreements with partners. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Communications, Marketing, and Membership Manager at Canada Company, organizing local and national events, establishing and expanding new programs and projects, and successfully launching a new pilot program. Most recently, they have been employed as a Bilingual Project Manager at Innovate By Day.
Laurie-Anne Villeneuve began their education in 2010, attending Cegep de Jonquière where they completed a Media Communication College Diploma. Their studies focused on Advertising Counseling and Coordination, providing their with a solid foundation in the field.
After completing their diploma, Laurie-Anne Villeneuve continued their education at Université Laval from 2013 to 2015. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Public Communication degree, specializing in Social Advertising & Public Relations. This program helped their develop a deeper understanding of communication strategies and techniques in a social context.
