Danny Lopez

Danny Lopez is currently a board member at Innovate Finance, a role they took on after serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Blippar from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their time at Blippar, Danny was the HM Consul General in New York and Director General for Trade & Investment USA from 2011 to 2016. In this role, Danny was responsible for promoting the UK’s economic profile, foreign policy and national security priorities, engaging at the highest levels of US political and business leadership. Danny also led the Department for International Trade's network across North America, working closely with multinationals on both sides of the Atlantic. From 2010 to 2011, Danny was the CEO of London & Partners. In this role, Danny was responsible for promoting London as a world-leading city for business, investment and tourism. Prior to their time at London & Partners, Danny was the Managing Director for Marketing & Communications at the Department for International Trade (DIT) from 2006 to 2009.

Danny Lopez's educational career includes a MA in International Economics from the University of Essex and a BA in Economics from the same school.
