Peter Cunnane

Peter Cunnane is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of International & National Initiatives and National & International Strategy Lead at Innovate Finance since February 2018. In this role, Peter leads FinTech policy and public affairs development, representing member views in government engagements and fostering relationships with government organizations, trade bodies, and financial institutions. Previously, Peter held positions at the City of London, including Policy & Innovation Advisor for FinTech, where Peter successfully promoted the sector and managed the relationship with Innovate Finance. Earlier experience includes roles at Stephenson Harwood and Clifford Chance LLP, focusing on information management and research. Peter holds an LLB in Law & Politics from Keele University and completed education at Bury Grammar School (Boys).
