Abraham Ngobeni

Abraham Ngobeni is an experienced professional in social work and management, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Regional Director at Innovation: Africa since June 2018, after being promoted from Regional Director. Prior to this, Abraham worked briefly as a Social Worker after a period of unemployment, and served as the EDC District Coordinator at the Society for Family Health, focusing on Sexuality Education and HIV prevention in schools in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Abraham's extensive background includes eight years as a Social Worker at the Department of Social Development, where services provided encompassed various social support programs. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Venda for Science and Technology and a Certificate in Emerging Management Development Programme from Turfloop Graduate School of Leadership/National School of Government.
