Maggie Fairs

Maggie Fairs is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple sectors. Currently serving as the VP of Communications & External Affairs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art since May 2023, Maggie has also led communications efforts for the Innovation Asset Collective, focusing on enhancing Canadian innovation in the cleantech sector. Additionally, as Head of Partnerships at Partial, Maggie facilitates connections between artists and audiences through an online marketplace. Maggie is the founder and curator of Plum Viewing, a newsletter dedicated to arts and culture events. Previous positions include Senior Communications Adviser and Program Director for the Canadian Arts Summit at Business / Arts, SVP at Weber Shandwick, Vice President at NATIONAL Public Relations, and National PR and Media Relations Director at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP. Maggie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Memorial University and a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University.
