Ruth McHugh Mba

Ruth McHugh MBA, FCPA, FCMA, ICD.D is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in governance and strategic advisory roles. Currently serving as an Independent Advisor to the Board Audit Committee at ICANN and as Founder and Chief Strategist at Strategic Advisory Services, Ruth focuses on helping organizations develop governance frameworks and long-term strategic plans. Ruth holds leadership positions on several boards, including CPA Alberta as Chair and Board Member at Innovation Asset Collective and CPATA - CABAMC. Ruth’s previous experience includes serving as Executive Director at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta and on the Edmonton Community Board of Directors for TELUS. Ruth’s educational background includes an MBA from Edinburgh Business School with a specialization in Negotiations and Influence, as well as qualifications in governance and business continuity from prominent institutions.
